From Research to Market

The Smart Repro Cow was developed as part of a research and development project in cooperation with the Institute of Farm Animal Biology in Schönow - funded by the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM). The model design combines scientific expertise with technical innovations to provide animal-friendly training at the highest level.

Rethinking Repro Training

Smart Repro Cow: The versatile training system for invasive procedures in bovine reproductive medicine - from insemination to pregnancy diagnosis. Its modular design realistically simulates the anatomy both visually and by touch, from the pelvis through the rectum and uterus to the ovaries. All components can be easily exchanged in just a few steps, making it ideal for diverse scenarios and practical, hands-on training.

Insemination Training with Feedback

A special feature is the integrated smart insemination catheter, which emits an acoustic signal when correctly positioned in the uterus. This allows trans-cervical insemination to be practiced realistically and objectively monitored - perfect for beginners and advanced users alike.

Flexibility for Individual Training Scenarios

Thanks to the practical Quick-Lock system, the tabletop and bottom can be separated from each other in just a few simple steps. This keeps the Smart Repro Cow fully mobile – whether for transport in a car trunk, use in different training environments, or as a modular extension for future training modules.

From Udder Examination to Milking Hygiene

The lifelike udder impresses with realistic haptics and full functionality. It enables hands-on training of udder examination, milking hygiene, and diagnostics under realistic conditions. Thanks to the accurately depicted cisterns, teat canals, and four separately fillable quarters, intramammary applications and milk assessment can also be practiced authentically – perfect for comprehensive, practice-oriented training.
