Handling & maintenance of Castro

Castro can be used for the training of castration, i.m. injection and handling of the piglet.

To change the testicle and i.m. module, simply pull the module carefully out of the module cavity and remove it. Place the new module under the edges and press it into the module cavity.

If necessary, Castro can be cleaned after use with clear water and air-dried. Powdering with talcum powder makes the surface smooth again.

Please take care when using instruments and applying excessive force to the simulator! Castro is made with attention to detail and should be treated with as much love as a live piglet - unfortunately cuts and tears do not heal.
