Handling & care of Injection Pads
Our injection pads can be used to train blood collection, placement of venous catheters and injections.
To connect the blood bag, screw the extension onto the purple adapter on the back of the pad. After opening the inlet on the blood bag, the flow through the vein can be controlled using the white clamp on the back of the pad.
If necessary, the pads can be cleaned with clear water after use and air-dried. Powdering with talcum powder makes the surface baby-soft again.
Please take care when using instruments and cannulas! Our pads are made for multiple use, but should be treated with as much love as a living animal: The smaller the cannula diameter used, the longer the pads will remain leak-proof.
