This two-layered bone contains structured bone marrow which is clearly differentiated from the surrounded substantia compacta in colour and structure. This bone displays the anatomical structures of a feline femur in true detail, from the trochanter major to the fossa intercondylaris. It is therefore ideally suited for the training of different osteosynthesis techniques on the feline femur.
