Uterus – Early Pregnancy Stage

With the Smart Repro Cow, we offer an innovative training system for all invasive procedures in bovine reproductive medicine – from artificial insemination to pregnancy diagnosis. Thanks to modular, interchangeable organs, the cow’s anatomy can be simulated in a highly realistic and flexible way – both visually and tactilely.

Realistic Simulation for Maximum Learning Outcomes

The internal organs provide an impressively lifelike tactile experience, allowing for hands-on practice of rectal examinations. The flexible rectum enables palpation of the pelvis and reproductive organs, while the uterus is anatomically detailed – including the vagina, uterine body, uterine horns, ovaries, and broad ligaments. The ovaries are interchangeable to simulate various stages of the reproductive cycle.

Modular, Intuitive, and Practice-Oriented

All organs can be replaced in just a few simple steps – ideal for simulating different clinical scenarios with minimal preparation. The modular design keeps the system flexible, user-friendly, and efficient in use.

Pregnancy Diagnosis

The uterus realistically simulates the early stage of pregnancy and allows for palpation during rectal examination. A defining feature of this stage – a unilateral, palpable fluctuation in one uterine horn – is faithfully recreated to match clinical reality.

This module also includes ovaries in a pregnancy-typical cycle stage. Each ovary features a clearly visible and palpable corpus luteum, which can be easily distinguished from surrounding tissue – both visually and haptically. Perfect for realistic, hands-on training.

Vaginal Examination – Realistically Executed

Vaginal examination of the cervix and mucosa can also be practiced under realistic conditions using a speculum.

To provide even more realistic training conditions, the Smart Repro Cow Base will soon be available – a life-sized lower body that raises the tabletop model to cow height. It features a fully anatomically correct udder and an abdominal basin for simulating obstetrical examinations.
