The Smart Repro Cow was developed as part of a research and development project in cooperation with the Institute of Farm Animal Biology in Schönow - funded by the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM). The model design combines scientific expertise with technical innovations to provide animal-friendly training at the highest level.

The uterus simulates pregnancy with pronounced unilateral asymmetry, palpable fluctuation, and a palpable fetus. Complemented by a pregnancy-typical ovary with a palpable corpus luteum, this module provides a realistic everyday training scenario for rectal pregnancy examination around day 65.
